Medication refills
What are my options for medication refills?
- You can directly order them from our online store Unleashed Vetmart. We ship all orders over $40 for free, or we can have them ready for pickup. We price medications very competitively with anything that you can find online.
- You can call or email us for a refill, or fill out our medication refill form. We will be happy to either ship the medication to you or have it be ready for pickup.
- You can buy them from our partner pharmacy Vetsource. Vetsource is a great resource for medications that we don’t sell and food. However, for medications on Vetsource that we also sell directly, you can usually get a better price by buying from us directly.
- We can send the prescription to another one of your veterinarians.
- We can send you a signed prescription that you can fill at any other pharmacy of your choice
What about Chewy, PetMeds, CVS, etc. Can I fill my medications there?
We do not directly work with outside pharmacies, i.e. send them prescriptions directly or respond to their inquiries. We have staff members dedicated to client communications, but we want them to be concentrating their time on answering your medical questions, not waiting on hold to talk to CVS. You might be surprised by how much back and forth there can be between third-party internet pharmacies and veterinarians, and we have decided to concentrate our resources elsewhere.
Nonetheless, you are free to fill your medications anywhere that accepts a written prescription from veterinarians, and we will provide you with an external prescription. Please note that in many cases, you will have to paper mail this prescription to your pharmacy.
Please compare our prices before turning to a third-party online pharmacy. We know that our clients want low prices, and we have them! We generally price medications at the lowest price that we can find from any online pharmacy. When you buy from us, you get low prices, you support your local veterinarian, and you can be assured that your medications are coming from a trusted source.
How can I get the lowest prices on my prescription refills?

How long does shipping take?
We generally ship orders on the same day that the order is made, or the next business day if the order was made late in the day. If you need your medication urgently, we can ship it to you with UPS Next-Day shipping. The cost of next-day shipping is $20.
