Becoming a veterinarian is a long road, requiring years of graduate school, a barrage of exams, and tuition that can seem hard to even comprehend. For those that continue their studies to become veterinary specialists, the journey is even longer, requiring an internship and residency that amount to years of extra training.
The road is long, but you don’t have to walk down it alone. At Unleashed Veterinary Dermatology, we are seeking to support a member of the next generation of veterinarians through The Unleashable Scholar, our new scholarship for a veterinary student with an interest veterinary dermatology. Through this scholarship, we are seeking to help a veterinary student achieve his/her career goals in specialty veterinary medicine.
Eligibility
Any currently enrolled veterinary student in an accredited veterinary program in the United States. Those with an interest in veterinary dermatology are especially encouraged to apply.
Award Amount
The scholarship award will be $2000.
Application deadline
The application deadline is March 1, 2025.
Selection criteria
The winner will be selected based on the strength of his/her career narrative and his/her level of interest in veterinary dermatology. The candidates will be evaluated by a selection committee.
